🎡 TDF's Autism Theatre Initiative (Broadway)

Entertainment & Attractions

Theatre Development Fund modifies select Broadway performances specifically for autistic audiences and their families — sound capped at 90 decibels, no strobe lighting, stress-relief objects available at the door, and quiet areas in the lobby for anyone who needs to step out mid-show. Cast and crew go through training so their approach to the audience is relaxed rather than rigid. Shows have included The Lion King, Wicked, Mary Poppins, and Elf. Which show and theater it's running at changes — check TDF's site for the current schedule.
